DORNIER EQUANIMITY CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017 TOP 100 SA WINE

This year’s National Wine Challenge / Top 100 SA Wines sees 63 red wines awarded Top 100 status of which 8 wines are Cabernet Sauvignon. Only three of the Cabernet Sauvignon wines are Wine of Origin Stellenbosch of which Dornier Equanimity Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 proudly forms a part. Dornier’s Equanimity Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is also the 3^rd highest scoring Cabernet Sauvignon of the 8 winning wines in this category.

Approximately 60% of Dornier’s red wine plantings are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. Dornier’s 2017 Equanimity Cabernet Sauvignon is expressive not only of the unique terroir found at Dornier, but also the true typicity of grape variety. Matured in small French oak barrels for 18 months the wine is beautifully complex with an elegant tannin structure. The palate is dense with concentrated flavours of dark fruit. The wine offers great ageing potential. Production was limited to 8000 bottles.
